What to Check Before Launching a Personalized Video Campaign
Use this practical checklist to verify your template, recipient data, variable mappings, video settings, and generation readiness before sending a personalized video campaign.

Start with a ready template
Before launching, make sure your video template, recipient data, and personalization settings all work together. In BHuman, a campaign uses an AI Studio template and a data source to generate personalized videos; generation runs asynchronously, so you’ll monitor results after submitting the job.
- Confirm the template has a source video and at least one variable.
- Check that the source video and any personalized moments are ready for the campaign.
Check your data and variable mappings
Review the fields your campaign will use, then map each template variable to the matching column or payload field. A campaign needs at least one configured variable, and generation stops before rendering if a mapping is blank or its source column is missing.
- Use stable, readable names such as first_name or cta_url, and keep them consistent between the template and your data source.
- Make sure each row has a value for every mapped variable.
- Put only the replacement text in a field. If the template already says “Hi,” use “Erada,” not “Hi Erada.”
- Check that text and media use separate variables when they represent different values.
Preview personalized content
Test a few rows before submitting the full campaign. Check that names and other replacements sound natural, fit the available timing, and appear correctly in subtitles or background assets where used. Shorter personalized phrases tend to have more predictable timing than long sentences.
- Review pronunciation and timing for spoken variables.
- Check transcript timing when you use subtitles or manual timing.
- Verify that personalized background assets match the intended row and scene.
Verify video settings and assets
Choose the viewing mode and check the requirements for your setup. Mini places the presenter over backgrounds and needs background coverage for every personalized moment; generic backgrounds may be added for missing coverage. Max produces full-screen HD output, but it may be unavailable because of plan limits or face-distance checks.
- For timed background segments, verify that each row has valid URLs or uploads for every segment.
- If voice cloning is disabled for the campaign, record any required manual audio before generating.
- Check subtitles and other optional settings, such as landing page URLs or callbacks, if your campaign uses them.
Confirm you can generate and monitor results
Before you submit, confirm that a valid data source is attached, required variables are mapped, and the account has enough quota. Once generation starts, use the generated videos page to monitor queued, preparing, processing, succeeded, failed, and needs-review results.
- Choose a supported input path for your workflow: CSV or Excel, Zapier, Leadr, Pabbly, or API.
- After submission, review failed or needs-review items and use the available status or processing details to investigate them.
- If you’re not ready to generate the full set, test a few rows first.
